IBPS Clerk Per and Mains Expected Cutoff Marks!

Wondering what might be the official IBPS Clerk Cut-off and state-wise Clerk IBPS Cut-off 2018?

After the announcement of IBPS Clerk Pre Result, IBPS released IBPS Clerk Pre Cutoff Marks.

The result will declare in the last week of December 2018 or in first week of January 2019.

Similarly, IBPS release IBPS Clerk Mains cutoff marks after mains result.

Factors on which Clerk Cutoff Marks is calculated?

1. Number of vacancies 
2. Difficulty level of the exam.
3. Number of candidates appeared in the exam total and state wise.

State and Number of Candidates Appeared for the Exam - 

We know that, number of vacancies is different for different states.

Also, the total no. of aspirants applying for IBPS Clerk Prelims from different states is also different which means state-wise Clerk Cut-off varies from state to state. 

But, change in percentage-wise Cut-off almost remains same. 

For example - 

Let’s suppose, qualifying marks of IBPS Clerk Pre Cut-off for Uttar Pradesh is increased by 5% then, qualifying marks for Bihar state will be around 5%, i.e. it may vary 4.5% or 5.5%.

IBPS Clerk Exam Prelims and Mains Cut-off 2018 is likely to go up, and one can observe 5% to 15% variation as per the above reason mentioned.


For the final result, only marks of IBPS Clerk Mains are taken into consideration. So candidates preparing for IBPS Clerk should prepare themselves for the competition accordingly.
